You know sometimes you have a totally awesome day and other times it kind of sucks. There are a few things you can do to ensure that you set yourself up for the best day possible:
1) Get enough sleep
How much sleep you have can really make or break your day. If you don’t sleep well, you feel tired all day and just making it through to the end, can be a challenge. Make sure you go to bed early enough, ensure your environment facilitates sleep and if you are struggling try the Headspace App. It has a sleep session, which is great for helping you to drop off.
2) Stop the snooze
Get up as soon as your alarm goes off. Don’t waste time in an interrupted snooze state. Get out of bed and start the day.
3) Get up to start the day
Don’t set your alarm for work, set it for getting up to tackle the day. It can really change your mindset, if you get up to start the day, rather than getting up with the purpose of going to work.

5) Eat a healthy breakfast
I’m sure you will have heard many health experts say the most important meal of the day is breakfast. If you give yourself time to make a nice healthy breakfast and you. If you are grabbing a slice of toast as you are running out of the door, it will make you feel totally rushed and not in control.

6) Listen to uplifting music
Get your most upbeat songs and listen to them at the start of the day to get you in a great mood.
7) Dress for success
Take some time to check how you look and what you are wearing. If you feel that you look good, it will help you feel better.
8) Be positive
Get up and get into that positive mindset, ready to tackle anything the day throws at you. Just decide to be positive.
